Customer had been receiving error codes from their nest thermostat. Their AC system would run for about one minute and then shut off for three on a timer. Our Chicago HVAC tech diagnosed a defective thermostat, and while troubleshooting the wires, noticed a short in the low-voltage. He narrowed it down to the AC contactor on the roof. Our expert tech installed both a contactor and thermostat with no issues. He also informed the customer on how to effectively use their nest thermostat. Additionally, he recommended for them to replace their filters once a month.
